Terms of service

The terms on which we provide the software, written to be read rather than skipped.
Last updated 11 October 2026

1. These terms

These terms govern your use of lumilabcreative.com and of the Lumi Lab applications. They are between you and Lumi Lab Creatives of Jakarta, Indonesia. A signed order form or written agreement with us takes precedence over anything here that conflicts with it.

2. The service

We provide software for operating a retail business across several sales channels: stock synchronisation and allocation, social and marketplace reporting, and affiliate management. Features vary by plan and by which platforms you connect.

Lumi Lab is currently offered to a limited number of brands and we set each one up by hand. We may decline or end an engagement.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for your users’ credentials and for what they do with them.
  • You will tell us promptly if an account is compromised.
  • You confirm that anyone you give access to is authorised by you to see the data they will see.
  • Accounts are for named people. Sharing one login across a team defeats the audit trail and we may suspend it.

4. Connected platforms

The service works by connecting to third-party platforms on your instruction. That has consequences you should be clear about:

  • You confirm you are authorised to connect each account and to let us access its data on your behalf.
  • Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform’s own terms. We cannot grant you rights to it and we cannot override its rules.
  • Platforms change their APIs, rate limits and policies without consulting us. When that breaks a feature we fix it as a priority, but we cannot promise a platform will keep offering a capability.
  • Write operations are real. When you instruct the service to set a stock level, change a price or publish a listing, it does so on the live platform. We log every write; we cannot undo one that the platform has already accepted.

5. Acceptable use

You will not use the service to:

  • break the law, or any platform’s terms;
  • access data you are not authorised to access;
  • send unsolicited marketing to buyers, or use buyer contact details for anything other than servicing their orders;
  • probe, overload or reverse-engineer the service, or resell access to it without our written agreement.

6. Your data

Your data stays yours. We process it to run the service for you, as set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to inform another customer’s product or reporting.

You can have an export at any time while your account is open, and we delete your data on request — see data deletion.

7. Fees

Fees, billing period and currency are set out in your order form. Invoices are payable within 14 days unless agreed otherwise. We will give at least 30 days’ written notice before changing the fee for an existing subscription.

8. Availability and support

We aim for continuous availability and we deploy changes without taking the service down. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee unless your order form says so. Planned maintenance that will interrupt the service is announced in advance.

Support is by email during Jakarta business hours, UTC+7. Anything that has stopped stock synchronising is treated as urgent regardless of the hour.

9. Intellectual property

We own the software, this website and everything in it other than your data. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it for your own business while your subscription is current. Platform names and logos belong to their owners; we are an independent developer and are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

10. Warranties and what we do not promise

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, the service is provided as-is. In particular we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data obtained from a third-party platform is complete or accurate — we report what the platform returns.

You remain responsible for your commercial decisions. The service helps you decide what to stock, where to allocate it and what to pay a creator. It does not make those decisions and we are not liable for their outcome.

11. Liability

Neither of us excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law: neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or anticipated savings; and each party’s total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Suspension and termination

You may terminate at the end of your current billing period by telling us in writing. We may suspend access immediately if there is a security risk, unlawful use, or a serious breach of clause 5, and we will tell you why. Either of us may terminate for a material breach the other has not fixed within 30 days of being told about it.

On termination we stop accessing your platforms, you can take an export, and we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For a material change affecting an active subscription we give 30 days’ notice by email; continuing to use the service after that means you accept them. The date at the top always shows the current version.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, and the courts of Jakarta have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, both of us agree to try to settle the matter by talking to each other first.
