Data deletion
The short version
Email hello@lumilabcreative.com with the subject Delete my data. We confirm within 3 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days. There is no form to fill in and no account required.
1. If you are a Lumi Lab customer
You have two separate things you can delete, and they are worth keeping apart.
Disconnect a platform
Removing a connection — Shopee, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Meta, Instagram or WhatsApp — stops all further access immediately and deletes the stored access and refresh tokens straight away. Data already synced from that platform is deleted within 30 days.
You can do this from inside the application, or from the platform’s own settings. For Meta and Instagram: Settings → Apps and websites → Lumi Lab → Remove. Removing it there revokes our access whether or not you tell us.
Close the account
Email us and we delete the workspace: users, roles, synced platform data, files and audit records. We keep only what tax and accounting law requires us to keep — invoices, essentially — and nothing that identifies your buyers.
If you want an export first, ask for it in the same email and we will send it before deleting anything.
2. If you are a buyer of a brand that uses Lumi Lab
We may hold your order, address or message history because the brand you bought from asked us to process it for them. They control it; we do not.
The fastest route is to ask the brand directly. They can action it immediately. If you would rather come to us, write to hello@lumilabcreative.com and we will forward your request to them, tell you that we have, and delete our copy once they confirm.
If you do not know which brand holds your data, tell us the marketplace and the order number and we will find out for you.
3. What we need from you
Enough to find your data and to be sure it is yours:
- The email address, phone number or handle associated with the data;
- Which platform it came from, if you know (Shopee, TikTok Shop, Shopify, Instagram, WhatsApp);
- For a buyer request: the brand name and an order number if you have one.
We may ask one verification question. We will not ask you for a password, a government ID, or a copy of a card.

5. What we cannot delete
Said plainly, because a deletion promise with hidden exceptions is not one:
- Data on the platform itself. Deleting your data here does not remove your Shopee orders from Shopee or your posts from Instagram. Only the platform can do that.
- Records the law requires us to keep. Invoices and accounting records, for the statutory retention period.
- Anything needed for a live legal dispute, until it is resolved. We would tell you if this applied to you.
